Live Auctions: To register for a phone or absentee bid, or to bid online through our website  you need to set up an account in our system. After that, simply log in to register for any upcoming auctions and start bidding.  Participating directly through our system can save you 5% on buyers commission if payment is made via cash or check within 7 days of the sale. Viewing Online: All auction items are available to preview through our website or by appointment at our warehouse. Please note since all items are sold “As Is” it is important that buyer’s satisfy themselves of an item’s condition. Absence of a statement to condition in the description does not construe a statement of any kind. Please request a condition report for any additional condition information on a piece.

 

Terms and Conditions: Prior to registering to bid in the auction, all buyers are required to read our terms and conditions. By submitting a bid you agree to and are bound by the terms and conditions of sale. All purchase are subject to a buyer’s premium. This premium is an addition to the 6.625% New Jersey sales tax. If you are a dealer and wish to be tax exempt, please complete the New Jersey Exemption Certificate and return it to our office with a copy of your resale license. Items shipped out of state are not subject to sales tax.

Buyer' Premium

The buyer’s premium for each lot purchased is twenty-five percent (25%) on the first $500,000 and twenty-two percent (22%) on the portion exceeding $500,000. For successful bidders who register for an auction and bid directly through our berminghmauction.com website, a discount of 5% off of the 25% buyer’s premium will be applied to invoices that are paid in full via cash, check, or wire transfer within 7 days of the sale date. Purchases made through LiveAuctioneers.com and Invaluableauctions are not eligible for this discount.

Payment

All payments are due upon receipt of your invoice.  We accept cash, credit cards, business or personal checks, and wire transfers. Unless arrangements are made in advance, credit card payments in excess of $2,000 must be made in person, and the credit card physically swiped with a pen-signed receipt. If your invoice is sizable, we may hold merchandise paid for by check until the funds have cleared.
